Gmail email marketing

Email marketing through your own Gmail — without sitting at your computer

SwitchOff helps small businesses automate Gmail marketing and follow-up emails. Build a Journey, choose your sending days, hours and hourly limit, then let scheduled messages go through your connected Gmail account—even when your computer is switched off. Gmail’s own account limits still apply.

A simple way to keep customer emails moving

You may have past customers, enquiries or people who asked to hear from you. You want to write a useful promotional email, upload the right contacts, control when messages go out and follow up without keeping a spreadsheet of reminders.

SwitchOff is deliberately built for that straightforward job. It combines contacts, promotional emails and configurable Journeys without trying to become a large corporate CRM. Replies return to your normal inbox, where you already handle conversations.

Can I send marketing emails gradually through Gmail?

Yes. SwitchOff lets you configure an hourly sending limit and the hours in which marketing messages may be sent. A business might choose around 15 emails per hour during its working day instead of attempting to send its entire contact list at once.

That number is an example of a user-selected pace, not a universal recommendation and not a guarantee about delivery or inbox placement. Gmail’s own policies and account limits still apply. SwitchOff does not bypass them.

Do I need to leave my computer switched on?

No. Once a Journey is running, SwitchOff handles its scheduled work in the cloud. You can close your laptop, leave the office or focus on customers. Your computer does not need to remain awake simply for the Journey to progress.

Your connected Gmail account remains the sending account, and replies continue to arrive through your normal email workflow.

Can I upload 1,000 or more contacts?

SwitchOff supports CSV contact imports, so you can bring in a substantial existing list without typing every address by hand. Importing the contacts does not mean sending to all of them immediately. You choose their Journey, sending window and hourly pace.

Businesses remain responsible for using appropriate contact data and following applicable privacy and electronic-marketing rules. A purchased, scraped or indiscriminate list is not made appropriate simply because it can be uploaded.

Can SwitchOff automatically follow up?

Yes. A Journey is a sequence of emails with timing between each step. A simple promotional Journey might contain:

  • Email 1 — the promotion
  • Email 2 — a follow-up several days later
  • Email 3 — a reminder
  • Email 4 — a final check-in

You control the content and timing. You can create multiple Journeys and assign a contact to the exact one they need rather than forcing everyone through the same sequence.

Does SwitchOff really send through my Gmail account?

Yes. SwitchOff connects to your Gmail account and uses it for sending the emails scheduled by your Journeys. It is not a separate shared marketing sender pretending to be you. Replies follow your existing Gmail workflow.

SwitchOff does not promise unlimited sending, bypass Gmail limits or guarantee inbox placement. Its purpose is to help you create, schedule and gradually send the emails you are entitled to send through the account you connected.

Why not use a traditional bulk-email platform?

Traditional platforms can be a good fit when a team needs extensive analytics, complex segmentation, enterprise permissions or a large CRM. Many sole traders and owner-operated businesses do not need all of that.

SwitchOff is for the simpler workflow: add the right contact, choose the right Journey, schedule useful follow-ups and deal with replies in Gmail. It aims to reduce administration rather than introduce another large system to manage.

Who is SwitchOff for?

It may suit entertainers, tradespeople, photographers, freelancers, consultants, small agencies, local service businesses and other sole traders who already use Gmail and want a straightforward way to keep in touch.

The common thread is not the industry. It is a small business that wants practical email automation without a complicated corporate marketing stack.
